James Henderson was born and raised in Brevard County, Florida. He attended Eckerd College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in political science. While at Eckerd, Mr. Henderson was active in community service events and was on the Commissioner’s Academic List for Sunshine State Conference Athletes and was awarded the Triton Award, which is given to the player with the highest GPA of the year. Mr. Henderson then went on to attend Barry University School of Law.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Henderson served as an Assistant State Attorney for Seminole County, Florida, where he was named the 2011 Top Prosecutor in Central Florida by Mothers Against Drunk Driving Inc.
Mr. Henderson joined the Firm in September 2012 to assist the litigation department. His ability to quickly understand complicated legal issues and his ability to research complex issues has led Mr. Henderson to be a strong litigator.
Mr. Henderson is an active member of his community and is involved in various organizations, including the Cancer Care Centers Foundation.
A member of The Florida Bar, Mr. Henderson is admitted to practice before the courts in Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
